Terms & Conditions
About these terms
These terms apply to repair and refinishing work carried out by CUJBA COACHWORKS LIMITED (trading as Cujba Coachworks), company number 15908475, registered in England & Wales, workshop at Unit 4, Homestead Farm, Romford Road, Collier Row, Romford, RM5 2DP.
Quotations
Quotes given from photographs or a description are estimates only. A firm price can only be given once we have inspected the vehicle, because damage beneath a panel is often not visible from the outside. If we find additional work is needed once the job is underway, we will contact you and agree it with you before continuing.
Booking and vehicles left with us
Please remove valuables and personal belongings before leaving your vehicle. We cannot accept responsibility for items left inside. You confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle or are authorised by the owner to instruct repairs.
Timescales
Timescales we give are honest estimates based on the work involved and, where relevant, on drying and curing times or parts availability. They are not guaranteed dates, and delays caused by suppliers or insurers are outside our control.
Insurance work
Where a repair is being paid for by an insurer, the vehicle owner remains responsible for any excess and for any amount the insurer declines to cover. We will keep you informed of what has been authorised.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion before the vehicle is collected. Ownership of any supplied parts passes to you on full payment.
Our guarantee
We guarantee the workmanship on repairs and paintwork we carry out. The guarantee covers defects in our work, such as paint failure caused by our preparation or application. It does not cover fair wear and tear, subsequent accident damage, stone chips, neglect, corrosion originating outside the repaired area, or work carried out by someone else. If you believe there is a problem with our work, contact us so we can inspect it.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to services carried out with reasonable care and skill. Where a contract is concluded at distance or off our premises, you may have a 14-day right to cancel; if you ask us to begin work within that period you may be charged for work already done.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of use, hire costs or loss of earnings.
Complaints and governing law
Please raise any concerns with us first by calling 07566 225937 or emailing cujbaion89@gmail.com; we will respond promptly and try to resolve matters directly. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
