Welding & Rust Repair in Romford

Rust does not stop on its own. We cut out corroded metal from sills, arches, floors and panel edges, fabricate or fit fresh sections, MIG or spot weld them in, then seam seal, protect and refinish. Done properly it restores strength as well as looks, on classic and everyday vehicles alike.

We look after drivers and riders across Romford, Collier Row, Chadwell Heath, Harold Hill, Hornchurch, Ilford, Dagenham, Barking, Chigwell and the surrounding East London and Essex areas.

How we do it

  1. 1

    Find the extent

Surface rust often hides worse underneath, so we cut back until we reach solid metal.

  2. 2

    Make the repair section

New metal is shaped or a repair panel is trimmed to fit tightly.

  3. 3

    Weld and seal

Welded in, dressed back and seam sealed so water cannot get behind it again.

  4. 4

    Protect and paint

Primed, painted and treated with cavity wax or underseal where appropriate.

Cars and motorcycles

Motorcycle frames, brackets and exhaust hangers can be welded and protected too. Insurance and private work are both welcome, and we offer a guarantee on the work we carry out.

FAQs

Welding & Rust Repair — your questions answered

Do you do welding for an MOT?

Yes, we carry out corrosion and structural welding repairs. Bring the vehicle in and we will look at what is needed.

MIG and spot welding, chosen to suit the panel and the original construction.

Will the repair be protected against rust returning?

Yes. Joints are seam sealed and treated with cavity wax or underseal where appropriate.

Do you work on older and classic cars?

Yes, older vehicles often need fabricated sections and we are happy to make them.

How long does rust repair take?

It depends how far the corrosion has spread, which we can only tell once it is cut back. We keep you updated.
